Now what's really cool is if you condition yourself to not require 8 hours of sleep, and only 2 hours of sleep. You have to make all your sleep REM sleep to do this of course. But you just have to stay awake for about 2 days then take a 30 minutes nap every 4 hours. This way you will get all the REM sleep you need and have a lot more time during the day.
but you need more than just REM sleep. you also need non-REM sleep
